Values we believe in

Do it as a team.

The team comes before any individual. No one individual is be able to function in silo without support from the team members. Win as a team, and more importantly, fail as a team.

Execution is the metric.

The team comes before any individual. No one individual is be able to function in silo without support from the team members. Win as a team, and more importantly, fail as a team.

Own your work.

Taking responsibility for one’s work without micromanagement to get it done. Doing whatever it takes to get the work done.

Create from the user’s perspective.

Putting oneself in the user’s shoes. Pushing to add more value to the user’s journey and reduce complexity in the user’s interactions. Empathizing with the user by asking specific questions and listening to them.

Empathy starts at home.

Empathy begins at home. Or in this case, at the workplace. We understand and accept the diverse set of perspectives that unique individuals bring to the workplace. We aim to cultivate compassion for the people around and work towards creating an environment of trust and appreciation.

Speak your mind.

A Springworks, we are proactive in voicing our thoughts. Ideas, and not hierarchy, get precedence in decision-making. But we ensure that thoughts are well-measured, and the ‘Why’ is clear.

Demonstrate with ‘why’.

“Start with Why.” The ‘How’ and the ‘What’ follow the ‘Why’. We understand that arbitrary decision-making is unscalable. Therefore, we start by demonstrating the ‘Why’ behind any decision. We not only demonstrate with a ‘Why’, but also seek a ‘Why’ as opposed to blindly accepting a decision or idea.

Err on the side of over-communication.

Springworks is building tools for a future that will be ‘Remote’. Communication is key to building for that future and prepare for a workplace in that future. We prioritize writing over speaking to ensure it’s not just the people in the room that benefit.

Frugal, but not cheap

Springworks employees do more with less. We focus on function more than aesthetics. However, we value time over money. We spend inordinately on the tools and products that make us better at work. We treat our workplace expenses to the same financial scrutiny as we’d our personal expenses.

Cultivate a growth mindset

Springworks believes in the mantra - ‘Always be learning’. Learning can come from books, videos, courses and meetups. We learn from our peers, colleagues, managers as well as juniors. We acknowledge and embrace the fact that we’ll stagnate if we don't invest in continuous learning.

Execution is the metric.

We believe ideas are important, but ideas without execution are worthless. We execute tasks to elicit a WOW and often go above and beyond expectations.

Women in the workplace

I have been working as a part of the founder's office at Springworks for the past 1.5 years and can say that the company encourages employees to take ownership of their work. There's no micromanagement and that everyone is encouraged to express interest in new roles, regardless of gender. The opportunities for growth are based on individual performance, which is great because there's no bias. Additionally, I've been fortunate enough to work very closely with the senior leadership at Springworks, and I have nothing but admiration for their work ethic.

Kanisha Parikh

Founder’s Office

Since we all spend a significant portion of our life at work, our workplace environment is critical to us. I have been a part of Springworks for about 4 years now. The people here reflect the warm and sociable culture the company speaks about. The environment is inspiring and one feels compelled to work hard. As an employee, one has the right to share our opinions with senior management.
