Simanta started his career a long time back, in 1989, and has an overall work experience of over 30 years. He did his B.A from Utkal University. His M.A from the University of Hyderabad. Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Xavier Institute of Management. Post-Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Rural Development from the University of Hyderabad and is pursuing his Ph.D. from Utkal University. He has worked with companies such as Wipro, IBM, Posco, etc.
