"There are three major roles of a CEO. One is keeping the lights on, whether it's through customer money or through funds. The second is hiring the right people. The third is setting up the right culture."
To say that Swaroop Hegde knows about entrepreneurship is an understatement—he is a 20 year veteran of the startup industry and not only has he helped other startup owners as an advisor but continues to walk the talk as the Co-founder and CEO of Powerloom and BlockVigil as well. After selling his first startup, Swaroop dabbled into the blockchain space and has since focused on building something bigger for web3.
The idea behind PowerLoom is to aggregate all the data in a verifiable way. With every snapshot that comes out, there’s a way to verify the information. Swaroop says they plan to build it to be fully decentralized and become a DAO. Their other startup, Blockvigil is an API Gateway for Blockchain.
