Life at Springworks: A day in the life of an Operations Intern

Aritra currently resides in Katwa, West Bengal. He has completed his entire schooling in West Bengal. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s in Technology specializing in Aerospace engineering (B. Tech) from Lovely Professional University, Punjab.

Aritra has been a part of Springworks as an Operations Intern since March 2022.

Let’s take a peek into the life of an Operations Intern.

What do you do as an Operations Intern at Springworks?

As a part of the Ops team, I work in the Address team. I’ve been with Springworks for three months now. Here, I double-check the candidates’ addresses from various clients. Every day, I review the candidates’ paperwork and reports, then call them to confirm and explain the procedure, and finally, I do their address verification.

What is your favorite part about Springworks?

My favorite aspect of Springworks is its work culture, which makes me feel accountable and cooperative with everyone on the team. Seniors generally urge juniors to take initiative and participate in team activities, which is helpful. Its policies always ensure that every employee can work comfortably.

How has your learning curve improved as a part of Springworks?

I was an introvert, shy, and took my time opening out. Springworks has not only helped me to talk more confidently, but it has also improved my social connections. Speaking with the candidates here has increased my speaking fluency. I am eager to study more as a result of my great improvement.

Walk us through a day in the life of Aritra!

  • I get up around 7 am daily, then I go to the gym at 7:30 am, after I get back around 8:30 – 9 am
  • I get ready to log in around 9:45 am
  • From 10 to 7, I completely stay engaged with Springworks.
  • As I am preparing for competitive exams, some days I skip my entertainment part like watching movies, playing video games, or solving riddles, to make up for my study time.
  • For the last few days, my schedule has been very tight due to the exams.
  • After my dinner at 10 pm, I either spend time talking to friends or watch some web series or current affairs news
  • I go to bed around midnight
  • Overall, I am grateful to Springworks that I can earn during the day and learn at night.

Which is your favorite product amongst our two apps, Trivia & EngageWith?

Though I do not regularly follow EngageWith and Trivia, if I need to be specific, I will go for EngageWith because it helps us to appreciate and recognize our team members for their best efforts.

What are the challenges that you face in your day-to-day work schedule?

I haven’t encountered any difficulties that could interrupt my daily routine. Other activities caused me to go behind on my work plan at times, but it is manageable.

Sneak-peek into your life outside Springworks!

My hobbies include traveling, astronomy, and playing with riddles, although I don’t have time for these right now. I also like to follow global affairs, defence news, and learn about India’s part in those, which excites me and prepares me for my preparations.
