We got on a call with Priyamvada, HR Operations Specialist at Pericius, to know how they build a culture that aligns with people’s values using EngageWith. And here’s the gist of our Q&A: 



To start with, can you tell us how EngageWith helped you build a culture of recognition?


Before EngageWith, we generally acknowledged employees via emails or weekly company-wide huddles. 


But now, this has completely changed. My people celebrate even small day-to-day wins. 


Anything good is noted and recognized, then and there. 


I still remember, as soon as we introduced EngageWith in our workspace, there were over 1000+ recognitions in less than ONE week. I was genuinely surprised by the magnitude it took off with. 


It can be your colleague who has been an awesome onboarding buddy or someone who helped you resolve an annoying bug – people send Kudos to express their gratitude. 


This way, I am happy that even a small contribution doesn’t go unnoticed, thereby helping us reinforce company culture and strengthen the internal brand.



How did Birthday and Work Anniversary reminders boost the sense of inclusiveness? 


Birthdays and Work Anniversaries are special occasions, and employees expect to get treated the best way on such days.


But with Google Calendar reminders, we often missed their day entirely, or it was belated. 


Now, EngageWith posts a warm message by ‘@’ mentioning the person celebrating it on our #general channel.


This way, the entire company comes in one place to celebrate occasions. 


Not only do employees feel more appreciated, valued, and motivated, but this has given them a sense of genuine inclusiveness.


As an HR, I love the direction we are heading towards. REALLY HAPPY! 



How did Anonymous Pulse Survey empower employees to give honest feedback on critical things? 


People usually assume things are going well until they pause and ask for feedback. 


With Anonymous Pulse Surveys, my people are no longer worried about their identity being revealed when giving frank feedback about critical things inside our company. 


It can be their feedback on our existing onboarding process or their encounters in our recent off-site trip abroad – people can let their honest opinions without hesitation. 


On one side, we get to know what employees think, while on the other, we can identify areas of improvement. 


It’s a win-win situation for all parties involved. And thanks to Pulse Survey for making this happen. 



Finally, any words on customer support? 


No doubt, you folks have one of the best customer support experiences I have ever received. 


We have a shared WhatsApp channel that has EngageWith’s customer support team in it. All I’ve to do is to simply post my query.


Then, in less than 15 minutes, it gets answered and sorted. 


Not just that, your team also helps us with a lot of culture-building ideas that are practical and applicable.


I am truly astonished by the pace your team works at. This is not just another customer support team we come across daily. It is much more than that, for sure.
