Anjali Mishra is from Kolkata, West Bengal. She holds a PG diploma from IIM Kozhikode in Human Resource Management & Business Analytics. She also studied French at the Alliance Francaise Du Bengale. Previously, Anjali worked as an ELT professional where she meticulously learned several skills. At Springworks, she works as an operations intern. Anjali can be summed up in three words: Fitness, music and dance.

My journey at Springworks <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I worked as an IELTS trainer and instructor for two years. While completing my PG Diploma from UpGrad, I heard about Springworks through my placement cell. It was great to see and hear many good things about Springworks. I was sold by the benefits and the culture Springworks has created. I applied for an internship at Springworks and wanted to be a part of such a great culture. It\u2019s rare to see permanent remote companies acing this aspect.

As soon as I applied, I got a call from the recruitment team. Bhargavi was very polite and warm. She patiently explained the hiring process at Springworks and walked me through the next steps. I must say, the interviews were great. The interviewers ensured that I was comfortable and they gave me an opportunity to share my inputs and shed light on topics that I was not sure of. I never knew the stakeholders would be this approachable. There were quick fixes by the team on WhatsApp and constant feedback and check-ins. I loved the entire process.

I also got to meet my buddy and manager a few days before I joined Springworks. These meetings gave me direction and helped me set smaller goals for myself. Later on, I had my induction where the HR team took me through the policies and basic hygiene practices at Springworks. It was lovely meeting my teammates on the first day. Here, I am at Springworks working as an operations intern. It\u2019s been a great journey so far.

Over here, you are appreciated when you ask questions and try to come up with novel ways to do work. The trust and ownership shown by my teammates and manager are highly appreciated. It motivates me to do better and take up new things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What do I do at Springworks?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I am part of SpringVerify India and I work with the address team. We as a team, are solely responsible for address verification of the employees once their orientation is done. I verify the address of the candidates. Next, I send the verification link to the candidates digitally. Once the verification is done by the candidate, I verify the accuracy, and sort and review the documents and reports according to the priorities. Then, I  initiate the address checks after reviewing the documents provided and if there are any discrepancies or insufficiencies, I resolve that with the team, raise and clear the tickets. Furthermore, I do follow-up calls and obtain the required information and resolve the candidate\u2019s query if there\u2019s any. In the end, I grade the checks as per the scenarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why do I love working at Springworks?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are many reasons but here are a few of them: <\/strong>

I don\u2019t have any experience with respect to operations but Springworks gives an opportunity to anyone who wants to start fresh, explore something new. Everyone deserves another opportunity and a second innings. This is the first instance where I felt I made the right choice.

The culture doesn\u2019t have to be explained. It speaks for itself. Every value in the cultural manifesto is practised to the T. Everyone knows what\u2019s happening in the company and constant feedback is taken by all. Our opinions matter and they are taken into account. It\u2019s been 4 months with Springworks and I am aware of all the products, policies and upcoming activities. We are updated even if things aren\u2019t working out or if there is any delay. That\u2019s how transparent we are.

People often say that remote work is just too much work and no fun. Well, I would absolutely deny that. Flexible working hours are the biggest win. We get to work and complete them without any micromanagement. I start my work at 10 am and get on huddles in case we as a team are facing any challenges or we need help. I take mini-breaks throughout the day and complete my work by 7 pm. Sometimes I do extend my work if anything needs to be done on a priority basis.

One doesn\u2019t have to be afraid or anxious to reach out to their manager or even to the CEO. We have the platform to voice our opinions and reach out in case of any queries. My teammates and manager have always been there for me. I have been able to learn and overcome challenges because of the support and training I receive from my team.

I get to have fun and also work. There are fun and quirky activities organized by the HR team and I love playing the games on Trivia. It\u2019s not easy to keep people engaged in a remote workspace but Springworks does that. Kudos to the People Ops team. I love the benefits and policies we have at Springworks, they aren\u2019t archaic which is the best thing.

Although we work remotely, I never felt out of the loop or isolated. We have cool products in place that keep us engaged and motivated. I have developed really good connections and found similarities among my teammates. It\u2019s been a great journey so far and cannot wait to explore further and learn new things.

Sneak-Peek into my life outside Springworks!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After work, I usually unwind by dancing and listening to music. I am a fitness freak and I love working out. On the weekends, I go out and spend time with my friends. You can find me shopping on the weekends or cooking protein-rich dishes. Binge-watching shows are something I do on Sundays. While completing my degree in French, I made a lot of friends from France. I am eagerly waiting to visit them soon and click pictures in front of the Eiffel Tower xD.
