href=\"https:\/\/theshapeofwork.buzzsprout.com\/1741873\/8280382-5-niyati-goel-on-the-importance-of-organization-design-for-workplace-culture\">Niyati<\/a> (Senior Director Human Resources, TATCHA), tells us that it is important to figure out what organization design is before understanding its role in the culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Niyati suggests that before we go into how organization design is important for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.springworks.in\/blog\/ways-to-market-a-remote-first-culture\/\">Remote first culture<\/a>, we need to understand what organization design really is. As the name suggests, organizational design determines how an organization functions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It depends on two factors:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Business strategy: Figure out what you want to offer and resolve. Find who will be your customers.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Organization culture: Organizational design is a derivative of the culture to a certain extent. It depends on how you get things done, the market you operate in, and more.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She gives us such an insightful and simple example. Create an inclusive employee experience that will help employees feel valued and heard. Both clients and employees should be taken hand to hand. The question that arises is \u201care they working?\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s what leaders should do:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-text-align-center is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>\u201cDon\u2019t take control, give control.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Micromanaging will lead to failure.
