product- SpringVerify.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her tasks are a mix of sales and marketing mainly focused on looking for potential new clients by reaching out to people over social media and other you do at Springworks?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I have been working as a Sales Development Representative here at Springworks for the past 5 months. I am looking after the sales of SpringVerify, which is a background verification application developed by Springworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My tasks involve researching and reaching out to potential clients who might be interested in BGV software which includes product demos and doing follow-ups until their final onboarding is done.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-did-you-choose-to-become-a-sales-development-representative\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_did_you_choose_to_become_a_Sales_Development_Representative\"><\/span>Why did you choose to become a Sales Development Representative?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I have a Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Commerce, along with which I was pursuing Interior Designing simultaneously. I worked as a designer for about 6-8 months after graduation. During this period I realized that the designing part didn\u2019t challenge me as much as the sales part of it did. The part where you go to the client and try to sell a design to them got me.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The best part about being in the Sales field is that it is challenging and you get to meet new people every single day. Before this, I was working with a B2C sales firm, where I was interacting with new consumers regularly.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similarly now in B2B sales, I am perpetually in touch with CEOs and directors of companies that tend to open up new lines of networking on a day-to-day basis. This helps me in learning something new every day.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-is-your-favorite-part-of-your-work\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_your_favorite_part_of_your_work\"><\/span>What is your favorite part of your work?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The favorite part of my work, if I can put it down in simple words, would be being able to scroll through social media and work at the same time! For example, even if I am taking a break, I tend to scroll LinkedIn which is a place where I tend to look for potential clients as well. So even when I am not working, I am kind of working and I guess that&#8217;s the best part.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-is-the-one-essential-skill-that-one-requires-to-possess-to-be-an-efficient-salesperson\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_the_one_essential_skill_that_one_requires_to_possess_to_be_an_efficient_Salesperson\"><\/span>What is the one essential skill that one requires to possess to be an efficient Salesperson?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I think confidence is the most important skill that one needs to possess as an individual working in sales. What I feel is that the confidence comes from actually knowing the product and loving it because if I am convinced with the product, it becomes easier for me to convince other people about the product as well.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I started, I was more of an introverted person but with time I developed an affinity for talking to people and interacting with them thus building up my confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-walk-us-through-a-day-in-the-life-of-shradha\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Walk_us_through_a_day_in_the_life_of_Shradha\"><\/span>Walk us through a day in the life of Shradha!<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Wake up in the morning<\/li><li>Get all my morning routine tasks done<\/li><li>Start my work by checking my calendar<\/li><li>Prepare for the daily standup call at 10:00 am<\/li><li>Do client follow-ups&nbsp;<\/li><li>Work on looking out for more potential clients<\/li><li>Attend demos if they are scheduled<\/li><li>Wrap up my work by 7:30 pm<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-sneak-peek-into-your-life-outside-springworks\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sneak-peek_into_your_life_outside_Springworks\"><\/span>Sneak-peek into your life outside Springworks!<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I love going out and meeting people. On weekends I like to spend time with my family and friends. I love reading books, I am currently reading Atomic Habits by James Clear.
