I use it from time to time and have found it to be very useful.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>How this technique works:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Take a large task and break it into smaller chunks. Pick one chunk and work on it for 25 minutes. Take a 5-minute break (this marks the completion of one &#8220;Pomodoro&#8221; sprint). Repeat. The majority felt pressure to find the \u201cperfect\u2019\u2019 job, work long hours, and always be accessible via Slack or e-mail. Nearly 70 percent agreed that millennials identified themselves only through their jobs.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>You must have heard the idiom, <strong>\u201call work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.\u201d<\/strong> While it might not have made sense earlier, it perfectly applies to the remote work culture.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>One of the critical factors responsible for maintaining a work-life balance is sparing some time for yourself.\u00a0 This ensures that your life doesn&#8217;t turn monotonous due to lack of experiences such as travel, <a href=\"https:\/\/idealmagazine.co.uk\/the-best-street-food-in-bangkok\/\">eating outside<\/a>, etc.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.springworks.in\/blog\/importance-of-having-fun-at-work\/\">Take some break from your work<\/a> and spare this time on self-care and nourish your mind and body. While this is not a good habit, it also leaves you feeling empty due to a lack of support and affection.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Moreover, this feeling surges when working in a remote environment since you&#8217;re physically present right beside your family, but can&#8217;t take out any time for them.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Therefore, set boundaries for your work. This includes <a href=\"https:\/\/thriveglobal.com\/stories\/7-creative-ways-to-stay-connected-with-colleagues-in-a-remote-working-world\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">communicating with your team<\/a> and family about your work hours.
