We are pleased to welcome Jeremy Cai, the founder and COO of Fountain to our board of advisors.
Being an expert on large-scale, high-throughput hiring gives Jeremy a unique insight into the mechanics of the hiring process. Our goal in SpringRole is to disrupt the endorsement industry and make hiring more honest. Having him on our team will help us get a first hand perspective on how hiring happens in the industry and how we can integrate SpringRole into the overall process.
He is the founder and COO of Fountain, a leading mid-market and enterprise hiring automation platform for applicant screening and workforce retention at large-scale, high-throughput HR operations. Companies like Grubhub, Safeway, and Cabify have implemented Fountain to process over 5,000,000 real applications across more than 50 countries.
After participating in Y-Combinator, Jeremy and, his Fountain cofounder, Keith Ryu, have gone on to raise over $11MM to expand the team and build new product offerings to compete against legacy industry incumbents.

Having personally worked in the high volume, full fledged hiring platform, I know how difficult it is for hirers to judge the credibility of a candidate. SpringRole has the capability to completely eradicate bogus endorsements. The idea of using the blockchain technology and AI to validate the honesty of an endorsement is potentially game changing.”
Prior to starting Fountain, Jeremy worked on the product and engineering teams at Shyp, a logistics company that was named one of Fast Company’s 50 Most Innovative Companies in the world. He is also the president of JK Labs, a modern CPG brand studio.
Jeremy has previously spoken at the Cisco CIO Summit and the Rhode Island School of Design. He is also a past recipient of the Thiel Fellowship and an angel investor.
